STATE EXECUTIVE#
The state executive of Indian Polity is also a part of the political executive that comprises three important posts: Governor (Article 153-161). Chief Minister & Council of Ministers (Article 164-167). Advocate-General of State (Article 165 and 177). GOVERNOR : He / she heads the state government. Governor is a constitutional head and at the same time, he is the agent of the Centre as the union government nominates Governor in each state. He is assisted by his council of ministers who are a part of state executive along with Governor and Advocate-General of State.
