UNIVERSAL HEALTH COVERAGE#

 Universal health coverage (UGC)  is a topic which I have been seeing and listening everywhere now a days, so I thought to write about the topic.



  • UHC ensures all the people that they will have access to high quality health services which they need, when and where ever they need them, without financial hardship.
  • Since Independence, Health is one of the aspect in which we need to develop. Being a mixed economy and health being privatized , the quality of public hospitals have gradually decreased. And public hospitals are not available in every part of the country. these are restricted to some places. by which the people can not avail and the quality is very low.
  • The private hospitals cash this opportunities and make the services very costly. Here poor can not afford the private hospitals . The country is facing this problem from long time.
  • As some of you know the constitution has given fundamental rights to every citizen of India, violating these by a person is a serious crime. Right to health is a part of right to life , therefore right to health is a fundamental right guaranteed to every citizen of India under article 21 of the constitution of India. So, it becomes a right of every citizen who is directly or indirectly shaping the country for its betterment to have a good health. It is Government's  responsibility to ensure its people with good health.
  • UGC has three key dimensions ; Access to health services, quality of services, financial risk protection.
  • We all saw how covid 19 impacted our lives , by seeing that we can say that future is uncertain , so there is a need for the government to preplan the health's of people of the country. India is said to attain UGC by 2030. let us see how it goes.

PINNACLE#2023 DAY 2

  In the morning doesn't really felt to wake up but , eventually waked up at 6:40 in the morning . Got dressed and prepared everything for the event. Got to Banjara Hills by 10 AM, just after entering the college we got into the seminar hall and were ( me and uma) ready for the extempore event( JAM). I got a topic about money lobbying , does not really know much about the topic, so didn't say much and ended too soon(about 15seconds). But I felt that this act of 15 sec gave confidence to the other people to say the little they know, and everyone just said what they knew. Then came to the auditorium and sat for some time and left for making reels , but nothing worked out and the song we thought of doing was actually tried by many others. but I felt uniqueness was missing, so I convinced the fellows not to do.
