ODISHA#

 Its been very long since I wrote my last blog, I was in a tour. for the first time we all (all friends)went to an another state. we went to Odisha. why we went there ? we don't know. we were searching for places other than Goa and Odisha came into the picture. we went by train for which we booked tickets long back. 

On July 7th our journey started. when were about to start, then comes the news that the falaknuma express caught fire. it was the same train we were supposed to travel. then karthik made a Hungama that the train got burnt, and all. but we explained that there will be different trains with same number. after the train completed its journey, it is rested. the other train with the same no. will set for the journey. but due to this incident the route got changed. and we ended up reaching late in Bhubaneshwar. 

we reached Bhubaneshwar by 2PM on July 8th. we then searched for rooms and had our lunch and got into the room. we bathed, we rested for some time. then we went to visit IG park in the night. we walked in the streets of capital city to reach that park. The city was humid, calm, more disciplined, everything was very fresh there. everyone is wearing helmets (even the one in the back). the food was very much like Hyderabad. but, less spicy. the park we went was very neat and it was well maintained. the one thing which I liked not only in the park but also in the Bhubaneshwar city were girls. why I am saying this because they are totally dignified, not totally western or old school (semi western), most important they are beautiful. Don't know their mindset but they are good. It is completely opposite from what I expected from Odisha. The colours which I have been seeing in past 2 years in Hyderabad are found in one night in that park. the interesting fact is that the boys are quite opposite to the girls of Bhubaneshwar. which I don't know why? That day went well. 

The next day we went to some temples, then to Udaigiri and Khandagiri caves. after that we went to Konark sun Temple. at night we reached to puri, And we booked a room and we bathed, we had dinner, we slept. One thing which I felt good was bus service in Bhubaneshwar. there were all AC buses and we booked a daily pass in online app. It was cost effective(around 60 rupees). 

Next day we went to Chilika lake. which was a wonderful experience. we went for boating there and we watched dolphins. and we then went to watch see mouth. we were standing on the Island and from a distant place i.e., from other side of Island there was a beach. the sound of waves hitting the beaches are still echoing in my ears. the boating time was actually three and half hours but the skipper took us for 7hours. and in the night we went for Puri Jagannath temple. A Incident happened with the Chakraborty travels. by this I got to know that many livelihoods are connected to tourism in that state. I don't want to share the incident. Its better not to know that.

The next day we were totally chilling on beaches. I leave to wild imaginations of everyone to expect what we did. This was kind of best and worst day of the tour. I don't want to share much about the day. the day totally about self control both physically and mentally. I learnt many things that day. this may sound stupid but that's the truth.

The next day we went khurda junction road by a local train. and waited there in the waiting room until the train came. we then ascended the train there. we learnt a lot from the trip. we enjoyed a lot. we then got to Hyderabad on 13th of July.
